The remedy for "jelly legs" and amorous males. A traditional homeopathic remedy used for two very specific situations: pets who get so nervous they tremble or shake, and male dogs who become over-excited or distracted when females are in season.
Why Choose Gelsemium 30c?
-
For the "Trembling" Nervousness: unlike other calming remedies, Gelsemium is specifically chosen for pets whose nervousness manifests physically—shaking, trembling, or "jelly legs." It is often used for show dogs or pets terrified of specific events.
- Male "Over-Excitement": Ideally suited for male dogs who lose their focus when a female is in season nearby. If your dog is pining, pacing, or refusing to eat because of "love sickness," Gelsemium is the traditional choice to help settle them.
-
Curbs Amorous Behaviour: Helps to support a calm demeanour and reduce the intensity of unwanted amorous behaviour in entire males.
-
Respiratory Support: Also traditionally used to support the respiratory system during mild viral challenges (often associated with symptoms that come on slowly).

I gave this to my cockapoo who is intact as several bitches on heat. He is a nervous dog anyway but a lot lot better as got older (4 now) . Since using this for a few days he has been aggressive towards other dogs, barking constantly and generally not the lovable but choosy dog he was. I am discontinuing asap. Interested to see if he reverts back to his "shy" but non aggressive way he was before.
Hi Penny, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear your Cockapoo has been having a difficult time lately.
Because homeopathy works on the principle of 'like cures like,' if a remedy is not the correct match for a pet's specific symptoms, it generally has no effect at all rather than causing a negative reaction. Given that there are several females in heat nearby, it is very likely that your dog’s sudden agitation and barking are a natural hormonal response to that environmental stress, rather than a result of the Gelsemium.
We were unable to find an order under your name in our system, but we would still like to help you find the right support for him during this stressful time.
Kind regards
