Ever wondered how to safely transition from a standard dog walk to a coordinated trail run? Join us for an exclusive, small-group Intro to Canicross Workshop at the stunning Cuerden Valley Park.

This session is designed specifically for beginners who want to learn the right way to run with their dogs—protecting your joints, their backs, and maximizing the fun for both of you.

What to Expect

• Expert Guidance: You’ll be in safe hands with Michelle Mortimer (England Athletics Running & Fitness Coach and co-host of the Canicross Conversations podcast) and Louise.

• Professional Kit Hire: We’ll walk you through the technical gear, providing custom fitting for both you and your dog using industry-leading Non-stop Dogwear kit.

• Guided 2-3km Route: Once you're kitted up, we’ll head out on a beautiful trail route to practice essential canicross commands and get you comfortable moving hands-free.

• Natural Goody Bag: Every participant will head home with a selection of high-quality natural treats and goodies to reward a job well done.

• Time: 08:30 AM (Perfect for quiet trails and cool paws!)

• Where: Cuerden Valley Park (Exact meeting point provided after booking).

• Group Size: Strictly limited to 6 participants to ensure a high-quality, safe, and personalized session.

Important Requirements

• Dog Age: For health and safety reasons, dogs must be at least 12 months old to participate in harness work.

• Insurance: All dogs must be covered by valid third-party liability insurance.

• Booking Form: Once you have secured your spot, you will receive an email with a short form. Please complete this promptly so we can prepare the correct kit sizes for you and your dog.

Terms & Conditions

Due to the limited nature of this small-group session, all bookings are non-refundable. In the event of extreme weather (temperature over 18°C), the session may be adapted to a technical walking workshop to ensure dog safety.
