A satisfying, crunchy chew that naturally supports dental and joint health. Add some serious crunch to their raw diet! Durham Animal Feeds (DAF) Duck Necks are a fantastic, fully digestible raw meaty bone that dogs absolutely love. Naturally rich in calcium and cartilage, they provide a brilliant workout for your dog's jaw while acting as a natural toothbrush. Whether you are building a balanced DIY raw bowl or just looking for a healthy, high-value enrichment chew, these duck necks are a perfect choice.

Why Add DAF Duck Necks to Their Diet?

  • Natural Dental Aid: The crunching and gnawing action required to eat a raw duck neck acts as a fantastic natural toothbrush, gently scraping away plaque and tartar to maintain cleaner teeth and fresher breath.

  • Joint Support: Duck necks are naturally packed with connective tissue and cartilage. These act as an excellent, food-based source of glucosamine and chondroitin to help support healthy, comfortable joints and mobility.

  • Brilliant Chicken Alternative: If your dog has a sensitivity or allergy to chicken, duck is a fantastic, highly palatable alternative protein with a slightly richer flavour that fussy eaters go wild for.

  • Mental Enrichment: Chewing is a highly stimulating, stress-relieving activity for dogs. Giving them a raw meaty bone to work through is a great way to keep them happily occupied and engaged.

  • The Perfect DIY Bone: For those crafting their own raw meals at home, duck necks provide an essential, easy-to-measure source of bone and calcium. As a general guide, each duck neck is approximately 50% meat and 50% bone, making it incredibly easy to calculate your dog's daily allowances!

Safety, Storage & Feeding Guide

  • How to Store: Product arrives frozen. Store in the freezer until needed.

  • How to Prep: Defrost thoroughly in the fridge in a sealed container. Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and use within 3 days. (Top tip: If they are stuck together in the bag, allow them to thaw slightly, separate what you need, and refreeze the rest!)

  • Bone Safety: NEVER cook this product. Raw bones are soft, pliable, and fully digestible for dogs. Cooking bone draws out the moisture and makes it brittle, causing it to splinter and become incredibly dangerous.

  • Supervision: Always supervise your dog when they are eating raw meaty bones to ensure they are chewing properly and not gulping.

  • Hygiene: As with all raw meat, please practice good hygiene. Always wash your hands, utensils, and surfaces thoroughly after handling.
