Gentle Original Cold Pressed Dog Food 5kg

Chicken and duck, cold pressed at low temperature into a dry food that is genuinely kind on the stomach. 

Cold pressed food is made very differently to ordinary kibble. Instead of being cooked at high heat and puffed up, the ingredients are pressed together at a low temperature, so more of the natural goodness survives the process. It also breaks down in the stomach rather than swelling, which is why it tends to suit dogs who have never quite got on with a standard bag of kibble.

Feeding it

Cold pressed is fed in smaller amounts than kibble, so weigh the first few meals rather than going by eye. The guide on the bag is your starting point. If you are switching over from kibble, or feeding it alongside raw, ask and we will work out a sensible portion for your dog's weight, age and how much work they do. No charge, and no judgement if raw is not for you.

Bag size

5kg. A good size to try the food, or to keep one smaller dog going. Also available as a 15kg bag, and if fish suits your dog better there is Gentle Fish 5kg.

Order online and collect from our shop in Bamber Bridge, near Preston, or choose local delivery on one of our regular rounds: Chorley on Tuesdays, Leyland on Thursdays and Preston on Fridays. If you are collecting, bring the dog in. We like meeting them.
