Mystique® Straight-line 550g

The Mystique® Straight-line 550g Gundog Dummy is an essential piece of gundog equipment while training the dog to go in a straight line. Thanks to its partly conical shape it is easy for the dog to hold and its shape allows the dummy to stand firmly in the field,.

When you stand the dummy up it is visible to the dog as well as the handler, thus giving a mark to aim at.

Using multiple dummies in a row, you can extend the distance after a short while,  building up your dog's confidence in you when you send him back  . For young and unexperienced dogs start with the white-black version, for advanced training follow with green-black and more advanced training use orange-black version.

To make training more challenging and exciting for advanced training you can mix the colours of dummies. The orange colour strap grip will allow you to wear the dummy comfortably and to get a good visibility even at longer distances. Black bottom base secure that the dummy is more protected against dirt. It can be flavoured with scents for more realistic training. Primarily designed for field training, it can also be used on water thanks to its special filling.

Our dummies are specially designed for the gundog training. Basic requirement for training is a so-called soft mouth, which prevents the game or the dummy damaged by too firm bite, and therefore is unusable. The dummies are not suitable for tugging.

Never leave your dog with the dummy unattended, to avoid damage to the product, possible damage and possible injury to you and your dog. Regularly check the condition of the product, if it is not damaged.In case of any damage, please do not use the product! During lifetime of the product, there can occure some change of colour shade, which do not have affect on it´s use. We do not recommend exposing the product to direct sunlight, which leads to changes in the colour shade and properties of the material.
