Small fish, massive nutrition. Don't let their size fool you. These Whole Sprats are a nutritional superfood packed with Omega-3 fatty acids. Small, easy to eat, and highly digestible, they are the perfect introduction to oily fish for puppies, cats, and small dogs, or a healthy treat for larger breeds.

Why Add Whole Sprats to Their Bowl?

  • The Perfect "Starter" Fish: Smaller than sardines, sprats are less intimidating for puppies or dogs trying fish for the first time. They are easy to chew and digest.

  • Rich in Omega-3: Like all oily fish, sprats are loaded with essential fatty acids. These nutrients provide excellent support for skin condition, helping to maintain a soft, shiny coat.

  • Joint Mobility: The natural fatty acids found in sprats help support healthy joints and flexibility, making them a great functional treat for active or senior dogs.

  • Whole Prey Goodness: Served whole with heads and innards, they provide a balanced source of vitamins and minerals in their most natural form.

  • Great for Cats & Small Dogs: Their petite size makes them the ideal whole-prey meal component for cats and smaller dog breeds who might struggle with larger fish.

  • Natural Calcium: The tiny, soft bones provide a safe and natural source of calcium.

How to Feed

These sprats come frozen individually or in loose blocks, making them incredibly easy to portion out—you can just grab a handful!

  1. Thaw: Defrost in the fridge in a sealed container (they have a strong natural aroma!).

  2. Serve:

    • As a Meal: Feed as the "fish" portion of your DIY raw diet.

    • As a Topper: Place a few on top of a mince meal for an extra nutrient boost.

    • As a Treat: Feed individually as a high-value reward.

  3. Frequency: We recommend feeding oily fish 1-2 times a week to maintain a balanced nutrient intake.
